A Genoese photographer and an impassioned enthusiast of Egyptology. Maurizio Re has been collecting information about travellers to Egypt from the last century. A specialist in cultural and landscape photography, he has to his credit several travel publications and tourist guides. His latest photographic essay book, "Le Cinque Terre" (The Five Lands) is now available in bookstores.
Maurizio Re is a member of the Egypt Exploration Society and of Astene.

A devotee of Egyptology, he is particularly interested in the Old Kingdom and in the construction techniques and applied technology in the construction of the monuments. He is the founder of the Archeology Group of Genoa and member of the Egypt Exploration Society. Together with Maurizio Re he intends to organise a group of passionate Egyptologists in Genoa to exchange information and opinions.

He constructs websites with the intention of staying close to his great passion for Ancient Egypt; after long and arduous efforts his friends Maurizio, Giorgio and Sandro have managed to connect his two great interests.
